Still hopeful but the biggest issue for a python user: Pylance

If you manage to even get the Pylance extension to show up (I had to change the "marketplace" settings) it will say: > This extension is not compatible with Antigravity

What the heck am I supposed to do with the Jedi fall back? Legitimate question: Can Jedi even highlight unused imports? Can it import symbols not found?

If Pylance doesn't work, fork it. But the LSP needs to just work out of the box.

Hey Karter did you find any solution to that? I'm facing the exact same problem... were you able to use Pylance or any other similar? Thanks

Pylance is MS-proprietary and so no one can use it (incl Cursor/Windsurf).

I think you can use BasedPyright? Not sure if other Pyright variant work (e.g., * for Cursor/Windsurf etc.) but this one works for me.

Yeah just kind of frustrating how the Python plugin (which has a dependency on Pylance) just fails to install Pylance in Antigravity. I even got some error messages related to it.

In windsurf installing the Python plugin it will install Windsurf Pyright: https://marketplace.windsurf.com/extension/Codeium/windsurfP...

It looks like that is a fork of basedpyright. I have just been using basedpyright now. Better than Jedi / Windsurf Pyright (at least in the import area which was frustrating me).

Idk what cursor does, my free credits ran out a while ago :P
