Musk proposes ignoring all regulation (huffpost.com)

I'm sure the SEC will be at the top of his list for a regulatory "cleanup", considering his colourful history with that agency.

Why stop there? Let's all ignore all laws, rules, regulations, norms, morals, ethics, civil rights, edicts, codes of conduct, decency, ...

What a world we'd have then! Absolute freedom for all! Want to own a human? Go for it! Want a child bride? Be my guest! Want to build a nuclear bomb in your basement to exact vengeance on your neighbor for having the audacity to suggest your lawn needed mowing? That's your right! And even if it isn't, who is going to stop you? The government? What government?!

Has worked for Musk so far. And Trump. Seems like a path to success.

Make anarchy great again.

Make America Go Away

Musk Apparently Gutting America

Obviously not constitutional. The question is what will the two other branches of government do about it?

Congress will do nothing, but I don't know what capacity the courts have to act.

Challenging a regulatory action is one thing. Fighting a decision by a regulator to not take action is another matter entirely.
