What's the advantage of using a MacIvory against using the emulation method in the linked article? Aren't the physical machines slow by today's standards (+cots of maintenance, failed hardware etc)?
The primary advantage for me is that purchasing a MacIvory gave me a legal license to run Genera. This is important to me because I work for Microsoft, a company that pays my salary by selling licenses to software.
I've also been told that a lot of things didn't work or were missing in the version of Genera that people can find online. I can't speak to the validity of that statement though.
