You’re right; but that doesn’t make me wrong.

Not being able to install malware is safer.

Maybe you should be able to, as an adult, decide to install it, or, as you say, decide to drive dangerously.

…but you can’t argue you aren’t safer if you choose not to drive (or install malware).

Driving is dangerous.

It’s safer to not be able to drive.

The argument the parent post made was that you are no safer not being able to drive.

Which is wrong. Categorically.
