Early in my career I worked for a contracting firm that established a secure position in a host company by being willing to take on maintenance of a code base that had been created by a code generator. It wasn't AI-generated, but it was a similar situation where none of the captive employees wanted to slog through the generated code, and my bosses were more than happy to take huge wads of cash to do it. So, the crusty old contractor in me kind of says, "Bring it on."
