Looked cool. Then I got to the bottom:

Why do I have to pay $2.99 for craft cocktails, but can get a sparkling water for $0.29? It's my machine, I pay for the cartridges... am I missing something here?

As a side note, can we stop calling every automated machine a "printer"? This sodastream wannabe is no more of a "printer" than the soft drink machine at your local McDonalds.

You pay for the device upfront, then a fee per drink. That’s it… all consumables are free, shipped and recycled by the company.


I have to admit "molecular beverage printer" caught my attention, seems like a good marketing phrase.
