It's quite funny that Bannon got pardoned for his Build the Wall fundraiser which he and three others were sentenced for fraud and Bannon is the only one that got pardoned.

Of all the people...

so curious why he doesn’t pardon assange and or snowden. would be such a signature trump move. will shock everyone and he’ll be remembered forever for doing it. there must be some serious things happening in the shadows that prevent him from pardoning them

It seems pretty clear that the only people he was both interested in pardoning and didn't know personally belong to a particular ethnic group that those two don't.

Hu? Are you saying Trump had a bias in pardoning black (rappers)?

> serious things happening in the shadows that prevent him from pardoning them

It's money, or the fact that they're not explicitly in his fanbase

> so curious why he doesn’t pardon assange and or snowden

Because Assange and Snowden didn't serve him out of political fealty or have sponsors forking over boatloads of money to Trump-allied political interests to secure the pardon.

Some senate republicans are very much in the camp that they're traitors.

Trump will be having a trial in the senate since he has been impeached. So he likely doesn't want to anger anyone.

(Former) Attorney General Barr talked Trump out of it:

And I thought I couldn't hate Barr more.

Does he get to keep his money now?

For fines to the treasury before they are paid: yes. After they are paid only after an act of congress (so never). For third parties I found:

> Whenever it issues, a pardon will not interfere with any rights a third party has to recover damages for another’s criminal behavior even if that behavior has been forgiven by a pardon.

Is it just me or do Jewish Americans get preferential treatment by our government? I think Joe Biden's cabinet is more than 50% Jewish American, even though they represent <1% of the population. Anthony Levandowski was a grifter par excellence. Why did Trump single him out?

> Is it just me or do Jewish Americans get preferential treatment by our government?

It's just you.

Well, I mean, not just you; obviously, “Jews control society and get favorable treatment from it” is a view with a fiercely devoted following. But it's not true.

> I think Joe Biden's cabinet is more than 50% Jewish American

His cabinet nominees aren't. He doesn't currently have a cabinet; I suppose when he does at some point it might be depending on order of confirmations.

What do you mean? All the cabinet positions are filled by people who are self-described Jews. You sidestepped my question entirely.
