Trident is a platform that connects small profitable US-based businesses to investors to help them raise equity capital they need to grow. There are hundreds of thousands of small businesses in the US that currently don't have access to institutional capital. Private equity firms and investment banks use people-based and manual processes and, as a result, can't efficiently address this massive trillion dollar market. At Trident, we are developing technology and using modern data-driven approaches to evaluate small businesses requesting capital and efficiently invest.
We are an early-stage small team that has raised seed-funding, is producing revenue, and currently in stealth mode as we build and scale our platform. We are looking to hire engineers with an interest in fintech and experience with building data aggregation and analysis infrastructure. Experience with messy financial datasets and dealing with unstructured data is a plus. Our technology stack involves a mix of building our own proprietary solutions as well as integrations with other software.
