Err, Apple is far more typical in supporting older mobile phones with new versions -- and getting them updated to the latest version fast.

Android vendors had (have?) a horrible history on this...



In terms of stability usually, but not tentpole features. That's quite alright, I'm not even complaining. Just saying it would be nice to get some newer features but that it isn't how Apple normally operates. That's just fine.


Apple have been good about getting updates on to older phones, but usability on the older phones is pretty poor.

My SE has really been struggling with iOS 13. A lot of apps don’t load and things are ssssslow.
