Do you think reverse engineering binaries works like the dude in The Matrix who stares at that screen full of characters and sees "blonde, blonde, redhead, blonde"? Like, they just open a hex editor and start at the first byte and read left-to-right?
A screen? They use a screen? I thought they printed the hex dump on that special paper with green and white stripes and holes down the sides and did the disassembly by hand with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. When did that change? Why didn't anyone tell me?
