AGPL doesn't help when you want to kill your free offering to move people onto the paid tier. But quite frankly, that isn't a problem GPL is meant to solve.

Profound quotes are only profound when said by someone who's widely respected.

How many multi billion dollar companies have you founded?

Publicly traded ones? As many as Elon, why do you ask?

We have more middle management than ever before because we cut all the other roles, and it turns out that people will desire employment, even if it means becoming a pointless bureaucrat, because the alternative is starving.

Great zinger buddy, you really showed off your wit.

Notably, neither `1 + i > 1 - i` or `1 + i < 1 - i` are correct statements, and obviously `1 + i = 1 - i` is absurd.

What do > and < mean in the context of an infinite 2D plane?

Typically, the order of complex numbers is done by projecting C onto R, i.e. by taking the absolute value.

Yes I’m aware. It’s a work around but doesn’t give you a sensible ordering the way most people expect, i.e:

-2 > 1 (in C)

Which is why I prefer to leave <,> undefined in C and just take the magnitude if I want to compare complex numbers.

One is above the plane and the other is below it. ;)

In a word - "true".

In more words - it's interesting, but messy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordered_field

> The complex numbers also cannot be turned into an ordered field, as −1 is a square of the imaginary unit i.

What if the earth exploded tomorrow? Who cares about what if.

Well you have a data point of one, so I guess we live in the best of all possible outcomes?

I don't understand what you mean by "data point of one"

Do you think I'm talking about my own, personal income?

I'm talking about median personal income in the United States, because the figures I found for household income only go back to 1985

Paradoxically, the people who pay for adfree experiences would be the most valuable targets for ads, so I suspect any pay for no ads arrangement will be temporary at best.

Exactly. Next up, it'll be on the Plus tier to "help subsidize the low price of this tier".

Infraction point*
