Wondering how other app developers are handling ATT prompts? Well stop downloading every app you can find, and check out this collaborative gallery.

Sylvain here, I wrote the post. If any of you got feedback from Apple on their App Previews as well, it would be awesome if you could post it in the comments!

Cheers

Wish I had started by reading your comment, and save me some time.

It would be a real bummer to see the phone number I'm now putting on business cards disappear...And I'd like Google Voice to let me place calls from my phone, too (when not in the US, you can only call from the computer). And transfer any call to Google Voice directly to my cellphone..I don't want new features, I want better quality and the same features than US users.

I like the idea, but I'm starting to get a lot of this daily recap emails...And if just one of your VIPS has had several discussions on twitter on a specific day, you'll still need to scan through all that. We need only the interesting tweets from our VIPS ;)

I'm going to stick to using lists (not perfect, but easy to check out on Tweetbot).

With list you still need to scroll a timeline, and you don't really know when something is new. In other words. You still need to check twitter all the time.

With Essence you are assured you never see duplicates from tweets from your VIPs

It's not easy finding that right balance, if there is one. Some people (like me at times) also like to work by doing sprints (2/3 crazy weeks) then resting (3/4 days vacation).

Finding the right balance is the hardest part, IMO. There's certainly no "right" answer, so long as you're doing work for the right reasons and can keep sight of the things which truly matter.

Looking forward to seeing the recap videos on YouTube.

Exactly. Get some clients to pay for your product (or your soon-to-be product).

I am not ever again doing the mistake of developing something in my corner. I want to see the money!

Find market/fit before trying to grow.

I share the same experiences, now I'm working using the methodology you described.

Kinda complicated on some parts for me, but neat! Thanks for sharing.

Yes but we're talking about a startup, not an administration...And if every hire is someone with talent, then when someone new comes they shouldn't be afraid. Especially if it's a talent that comes and complete the team (or replaces the CEO on some of his tasks).

It looks like a simple to use product. Does it cost minutes for call forwarding (when someone calls me?)

Minutes are used for call forwarding and outgoing calls, yes. :) Thanks for the question. We're adding it to our FAQ shortly.
