Integral is AI-native Slack/Discord alternative. A communication app built for scale, since first gen communication apps get too noisy after 20 users start chatting. Pre-seed funded, closing seed round imminently. Currently a 1-person company. solo founder, Sina, built the first version (desktop & mobile) and launched and ranked #1 product of the day on Product Hunt and got early power users and has a 4k+ waitlist.
the ideal candidate is a product-minded engineer who has worked at early stage startups ideally as a CTO or founding engineer. experience with compliance is nice to have. being based in SF bay area is a must.
There's too much knowledge on the internet but no place to easily discover few tried-and-tested playbooks for learning hard and important things.
this is a very early stage MVP. My vision with Learning Loop is to organise the world's knowledge to help anyone learn anything, joyfully and efficiently.
Google organised the world's information and that's enough to help people in tech learn stuff online. We subscribe to a ton of newsletters and communities and filter knowledge. Most ordinary people don't learn like that. When they google something and get 3 billion results, they feel lost. Some go to reddit to find recommendations, and they end up finding 300 opinions on how to learn X. They feel lost again. I want a platform on which the volume of knowledge each person gets exposed to goes down over time, but the quality goes up. Optimising for person/content fit.
Long way to go. Open to feedback, criticism, talent.
Love it. I wanna put this in the context of innovation in education:
IMHO, a radical innovation in education is one that can address at least two of the following flaws and failures in the current education system, at any growable scale:
–Duration and cost
–Content
–Delivery
If I were to satisfy a VC, I could also add a 4th bullet point called "Supply/Demand", but since I'm not writing for a VC, then I'll write what actually matters. In the case of education, that is, it's okay to ignore the existing supply and demand, and focus on the demand that must exist that doesn't yet.
P.S: I think I got lucky that my mom was a teacher, so I grew up having a definition of right and wrong different from what was expected of me, and that stayed with me throughout my education. I didn't do what was asked, but what I believe was right for my growth.
