Is there any evidence he's ever driven (or even ridden in) a production unit?

You can't trust it.

You need the same (and probably more) robust controls in place as you would use for a more junior developer.

A human will be influenced by the potential outcome of any proposed solution. For example they might worry about the impact to their employment status if they are wrong, while an LLM will just spit out an answer that is "most likely correct".

What would a "MAGA" approach look like for your country?

Probably stop spending tax money on weapons for Ukraine and spend it on the NHS.

The US has the extraordinary economy to afford it. We can't even support single parent families with enough to eat.

> It can't use European ones because of different wheelbase.

Just a quick point of clarification for anyone trying to look this up. The correct term is "gauge" (distance between the rails) instead of "wheelbase" (distance between front and rear wheels). Most European countries use tracks with a gauge of 1,435mm but Ukraine uses 1,520mm.

Superglue / cyanoacrylate wasn't discovered until the 1940s. They were trying to create clear gun sights when they discovered the fact that it sticks to everything. My understanding is that it wasn't used in the field to close wounds until the Vietnam war.

“Wells Fargo customers entrusted their bank with their livelihood, their dreams, and their savings for the future,” said Attorney General Becerra. “Instead of safeguarding its customers, Wells Fargo exploited them, signing them up for products - from bank accounts to insurance - that they never wanted. This is an incredible breach of trust that threatens not only the customers who depended on Wells Fargo, but confidence in our banking system. As our investigation found, Wells Fargo’s conduct was unlawful and disgraceful.”

This. A good manager filters out most of the outside noise and problems so the team can focus on the task at hand.

Happy Anniversary.

I've moved on to MacOS for work and Arch Linux for home but Slackware will always have a special place as my intro to Linux and understanding what actually goes on beneath the surface on a computer.

I can't count the number of late-night hours I spent in high school learning about Linux and playing DroidBattles on a second-hand, beat-up Toshiba Portégé running Slackware.

Same but I use: cat | Mk1 eyeball

In all seriousness, the great thing about a standard like this is that it is tool agnostic.

I still use one of these on my desktop. My favorite pointing device of all time.
