Common? Perhaps in less than ideal or legacy situations. Best practice, definitely not.

A lot of website projects I have worked on in the past included composer or node dependencies in the repository. It really slows down the whole git system.

I miss OiNK, Waffles, and What so dearly. Music has never been the same for me since.

Incredible!

How many cameras does this method require? As far as I can tell from the paper it still generates from multi-view source data. I can't say for sure but it seems like a large number from what I can parse as a layman.

I'm no expert but the DNA rendering dataset uses 60 synchronously captured cameras.

So, something we could easily see done at say... an NBA event or football field... hell I imagine i can think of some ... adult use cases that would probably make a bundle off of tech like this if it can be optimized down... as my favorite youtuber would say ... WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

It's a local news piece so it's not meant for a technical audience. That's why they lead with the typical "random bystander" quotation.

Workday is not great for applicants either. Maybe the back-end is nice?

It's just aa convoluted. I work for Workday. Having to re-enter your data each and every time is part of the enterprise tenant isolation model. There is no information sharing between tenants, especially PII. The UX suffers because of data privacy.

Maybe the back-end is nice?

Lol I’m definitely swiping this next time I throw shade on a website XD

Workday is awful from every angle.

Yea, but companies will keep using it because offloading all HRMS to workday (or similar competitors) is cheaper than doing it all in house. (For companies of a sufficient size. Small enough and it's probably not worth it)

Gulp[1] and node streams sortof do this

  gulp.src(config.src)
    .pipe(uglify())
    .pipe(gulp.dest(config.dest))
    .pipe(size());

As would I, but watching the clip makes it pretty clear that the 15 is easier to damage (in this way) than previous models.

Yes, sortof. 'Crawl budget' issues.

Is there any chance you'll create Intellij / IDEA extensions?

Yep, on the roadmap

As a heavy user of Webstorm I can't wait to see it!

I tried searching this strange string of nouns but was met with some strange results.

What are you referencing?

Iris Alexandra studies plants in Russia, and also dabbles in chemistry from her (home?) lab. Over this past weekend, she's been working on replicating the LK-99 results herself, heaping a bunch of lighthearted scorn in the process in typical Soviet style. It's highly entertaining, so she's gotten herself a bit of a following online.

People are badmouthing her in part because she's openly plural and trans and lesbian and a catgirl and she has Opinions On The Internet, so her bullies question her credibility based on the stereotype.

She also wears her Soviet culture on her sleeve, so folks incorrectly think that being a communist means she supports what Putin is doing in Ukraine, despite her statements. (Keep in mind that being so openly LGBTQ+ isn't exactly smiled upon by the Russian state at the moment...)
