I like very much the Maps.me and I have recomanded it to several people.
I would like to know if it's possible to search in London by the postcode or how could I add myself the postcode database (into to my phone).
Postcode centroids have been freely available since 2010. freethepostcode was set up before then (as was npemap, a similar site I was involved with: http://www.npemap.org.uk/FAQ.html#whatIsIt ).
Postcode boundaries, however, are still not available openly.
I wonder how much absolute error there is between the actual boundary and a Voronoi boundary. While I'm sure there's some massive IV postcode for which it wouldn't work, if most postcodes are tiny, then the fact that you're off by under a kilometre isn't so bad for routing.
Maps.me now lets you edit OpenStreetMap directly, so you should be able to add your own postcode directly. I don't know what kind of UI they've added, this can get kind of deep, but nothing that someone reading HN can't figure out.
I am Paul, the creator of ZynAddSubFX, Paulstretch (Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch) and other well known software. I have just moved to London and I am available for contract/permanent job.
I wonder if the source code of FastTracker 2 will be available.
Of course, I am aware of the open-source trackers (like MilkyTracker, etc), but I believe that the FT2 played a huge part of the demoscene and it should be preserved (the original source code).
There is another open source software which generates binaural beats. The software is Paulstretch, an extreme-audio time stretching software I wrote few years ago:

Also, from the API, it seems that I could implement Paulstretch algorithm ( http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/ ) easily. When I'll have some free time, I'll try it.
EDIT: I looked a bit closer on interface EFFECT and Paulstretch cannot be implemented as an effect, but as a generator. Needs to be studied more :)
fft.js supports as large buffers as JS can handle, that depends a bit on the browser, but 256k samples will probably work, you might have some trouble in Chrome, if you have too much other stuff in memory as well. Would be cool to see a demo of PADsynth on the web, especially with audiolib.js!!!
Paulstretch would be a perfect addition to the library, it would open whole new doors for example for samplers (whoa, the sample is sustained forever!), of course with some limitations in regards of real time. Send me a message on GitHub, if you decide to take up on the task, I'd be glad to give you a hand with it! :)
Unfortunately, in this period of time I am quite busy porting Paulstretch to Android. I have rewritten a (C++) fixed point implementation of Paulstretch and now I have to write the GUI for Android. After I will release it, I hope that I will have some time to port it to JS. Anyway, feel free to add the task for me (my user is 'paulnasca').
If you want to look at the algorithm of Paulstretch you can have a look to a simple Python implementation:

The algorithm is pretty fast, the most time consuming operations are the FFTs and IFFTs. That's why I think that it might work on real-time JS.
