Excited to share a major update from Saiku. Now, you can interact with Saiku directly from your browser, bringing it closer to a local version of ChatGPT but with additional capabilities. Saiku is designed to be more than a chatbot; it can execute function calls, navigate the web, manage Google Docs, among other functions, right from your terminal.

Here are some highlights of Saiku's capabilities as per the latest update:

Web Navigation: Browse the web and retrieve information seamlessly. Document Management: Create and manage Google Docs through simple commands. Function Calls: A wide variety of functions to automate tasks, manage files, and much more. Though Saiku is still a work in progress and in a highly experimental phase, the potential it holds is immense. We believe it could trend in the AI community due to its unique features compared to other models like ChatGPT.

We are actively seeking backers, contributors, and feedback from the community to help shape the future of Saiku.

Check out the update and the variety of functions Saiku supports on our GitHub: https://github.com/nooqta/saiku

We welcome any feedback, contributions, and discussions around Saiku's capabilities and future directions.

I’m thrilled to share Saiku, an AI project that aims to automate a wide array of tasks with simple commands. Inspired by projects like ChatGPT, Saiku is designed to handle tasks such as:

Summarizing documents (local or remote PDFs) Evaluating CVs based on specified matrices Generating content and saving it to file Sending emails with attachments Querying databases using natural language Plotting charts Executing interactive commands like npx create-next-app@latest Generating invoices using templates (docx, html) and saving as PDF We’re grateful for the community and projects like OpenAI, kodyfire, and Open Interpreter that have paved the way and provided inspiration.

We’re in the experimental phase and are looking for community support in the form of sponsors, contributors, and feedback. Check it out on GitHub and let us know your thoughts: https://github.com/nooqta/saiku

We believe the potential for AI to take over mundane tasks and free up time for creative pursuits is immense. We’re excited to contribute to this narrative with Saiku and would love to hear your insights and suggestions.

ChatPDF-GPT is an innovative project that harnesses the power of the LangChain framework, a transformative tool for developing applications powered by language models. This unique application uses LangChain to offer a chat interface that communicates with PDF documents, driven by the capabilities of OpenAI's language models.

In this project, the language model is connected to other data sources and allows interaction with its environment, thus embodying the principles of the LangChain framework. Users can upload a PDF document, which is then processed and saved in Pinecone, a vector database, and Supabase storage. Users can then chat with the uploaded PDF, with the AI utilizing the content of the document to engage in a meaningful conversation.

The project relies on the Next.js framework, a leading choice for creating robust, full-stack Web applications. The UI components are beautifully crafted using the Radix UI library and styled with Tailwind CSS, based on the elegant template provided by shadcn/ui.

Very cool now just wishing it didn’t rely on the OpenAI api
