Why would you want to spread tipping culture?

Yes this is so cringe, but it makes me kind of laugh. Of all the things the Western world historically imposed on Asia, it makes me laugh this is what made me feel is most cringeworthy as of recent.

Please keep your tip customs out of our culture. Next time just say thank you several times to show you appreciate them.

I don't tip for the sake of tipping, I do it when I receive a more than excellent job.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

This, but with 24 hour clock.

I agree with you. When I work at home I'm barely half as efficient, and I get depressed after a couple of days. My brain is just not wired for it.

You can see the following three numbers:

Wealth, Income, Calculated tax

Here's what it says for me (I've censored some stuff with ):

Born: 19** Wealth: 5** *** Postal code/area: **** Income: 4** *** Tax Municipality: *** Calculated tax: 1** ***

I find it interesting that you censored publicly available information.

Cool - thank you for the information. I was just curious.

Norwegian here.

This isn't really an issue, as far as I can tell. I feel in general most people get paid fairly, so if you're doing the same work as someone else the pay won't be that different.

I've always shared and talked salary with my coworkers, both when I was earning the least and the most of my coworkers. When I earned the least, they helped me with how to approach my boss for a raise; and now when I'm the best paid, I help my coworkers get what they deserve.

What if you are a kind of an high achiever, and companies would be willing to pay more for your output than an average one?

Or assume you do 2x better work, they initially pay you the same, then you get a better offer elsewhere, and they would want to match, but if they do, you would be getting paid a lot more than your coworkers.

I've used bitcoin in the past and never saw the reason for mixing. I don't really care if people track down my purchases. Anonymity is not why I use bitcoin.

I'm not sure why, but Youtube has still not recommended any of MrBeast's videos to me. Am I really that far from his target audience?

try logging out of your account, or using it via a private browser and/or VPN

logged in it never tries to recommend me anything. but hit the YT front page as an uncharacterized user then his vids are usually top center.

They probably have, many a time, but you might be in the audience category that has autoplay disabled and actively refuses to click on clickbaity thumbnails?

I got rid of my last car many years ago when cars still had casette players. What kind of controls do you really need in a car? I realize that a lot of cars have built in GPS now, but in my opinion all controls that require typing or looking at a screen should be disabled until the car is stopped.

These people basically live in their cars. Imagine just sitting on your bicycle without actually going somewhere on it. Seems weird, but that's what they do. These controls are all for the mobile living room aspect. Nothing to do with driving.

To be fair, it does support eXtra Large dimensions.

I know about this in Swiftkey, but since I'm using more than one language, this action is used to change languages instead. It's unfortunate because moving the cursor is very useful.

Swipe changes the language but a long press activates the cursor in Android
