Yeah, maybe the CEO doesn’t see any impact on productivity — but mine definitely changed.
I actually have more time for my own stuff now, because AI quietly handles part of the work for me.
Of course, if productivity is measured by how many PowerPoint slides get presented to the board, then sure — nothing changed.
Especially when HR reports say “everything looks the same” — because no one is tracking how much work is silently being offloaded to AI.
And just to avoid overworking myself, I even asked AI to write this comment so I could focus on something else in the meantime.
Congratulations on fully understanding the situation. There are a lot of such failed provocations unfortunately. Like the short movie in Poland with the lady on the bus who showed a piece of footage in which the bus driver asks her out of the vehicle, and it was an article along the lines of ‘he asked me out of the bus because I was with my child’, while the entire surveillance footage of the bus reveals that the driver asked the mother to fasten her pram with a seatbelt in a suitable place. She refused and the driver asked her out because she did not comply with his instructions and rules related to transport. People who have children completely fail to understand or do not want to understand people who have made a conscious decision not to have them.
Thanks for this comment, your commentary is uplifting.
It is still possible to use an Amiga and connect it to the Internet. It is still possible to use VHS tapes and watch films on them.
I am not sure why you would want to do this.
Maybe your computer is fine now, but if you are targeted by an attacker, you make it easier, or if someone steals your laptop, I guess there is no encryption by default. Better to use Linux on old machines.
And in 2024 we have great emulators or virtual machines for more than 10 years to make old games work fine. Cool that you made it work, but I have no idea why. Maybe for fun, or testing, but for everyday use, nah, thx.
In Poland, the town where I live, the problem is even funnier. They use these blowers to push the leaves from the pavements and streets onto the lawns every day at 8 a.m. and nobody collects the leaves. When the guy finishes his work, the wind blows the leaves back onto the pavements and streets. When we reported this to the council, no one saw a problem and the cleaner was happy because he had work every day. The leaves are only collected once before winter, when there are no leaves on the trees.
Did you write this? Wow!
I’m going to be going through your guide with a friend! If I can think of anything helpful to add based on the process I will let you know!
