We are looking for a software engineer who knows their way around a machine learning model (or vice versa). We are building our data science team little piece at a time and this would be one of the first roles! You would primarily be responsible for productionizing and deploying large machine learning models for integration into our products. We are also responsible for R&D efforts that demonstrate new functionality and testing them with our beta clients.

The process in the article is pretty similar to dropout in neural nets. But instead of "knowing" what to get rid of, we randomly prune. The brain may do it randomly or intelligently, hard to say based on these studies.
