There are even commercially available prototypes of that vacuum cooling technology, if you want to perform your own experiments with that concept: https://www.amazon.com/Thermos-Stainless-Ounce-Drink-Bottle/...

That's my water bottle. 10/10 would recommend for not passing temperature gradients.

To be fair, they have mirror surfaces inside. A more realistic prototype would be ultra-black for something like 10-50x better radiative heat transfer. Of course it would still be more like shitty insulation than like good conduction.

this kind of sarcasm will go over their head. People truly don't understand vacuums

I absolutely don't understand how vacuum works. So I absolutely cannot model how a Dewar flask which has 15 billion light year thickness between the inner and outer wall - a wall that is very close to absolute zero will behave.

There is another interpretation, reading "bits" as "set bits" and assuming that textual description (especially the operator "of the") has a higher precedence than multiplication, then your initial number is 9 with 2 bits set, and the largest number is 52 with 3 bits set, and 3 < 2 * 3 + 1 = 7.

Does Base https://github.com/garybernhardt/base still work with current versions?

Cocoa butter is more expensive than palm oil.

Without it, there would not have been a transition phase.

I call BS. Without a series of MAJOR blunders Unicode was destined to succeed. When the rest of the world has migrated to Unicode, I am more than certain that Turks would've migrated as well. Yes, they may have complained for several years and would've spent a minuscule amount of resources to adopt the conversion software, but that's it, a decade or two later everyone would've forgotten about it.

I believe that even addition of emojis was completely unnecessary despite the pressure from Japanese telecoms. Today's landscape of messengers only confirms that.

USB3 cables are black magic, anyway.

Contrary to many other electronics standards, the USB-C spec is just a free download away.

Yeah. How could 1950's science fiction be so wrong?

My stupid butt imagined new mutant superpowered insects like the Brain from Pinky and the Brain

Well, to be fair, that's what that stupid title is designed to make you think

Show pitch: Pinky and the Brain but the Brain is a brain bug from Starship Troopers.

I was thinking Rachni[0][1]

Teams brings back a sense of adventure into boring online meetings since you never know what works subtly different than id did last week and who will be made to act the clown due to strange glitches.

Poor mac users.

Yes, what the GP was implying is that the important people don't get convicted in court when a patient dies due to a wrong diagnosis if the AI is responsible.
