100 year old windows were designed for easy maintenance and repair. Are the double hung windows? If they are, you can make sure to have storm windows on which effectively work as a double pane window. If this new glass were available, you could replace every pane in your window without removing a nail.

> window without removing a nail

There'd be brads to pull at least part-way out to release sashes, though. And the damned cords and all that.

Much easier to re-glaze a removed sash!

I seriously doubt they would provide the glass without frames, which requires removing the moulding around the existing window.

Selling panes of window glass that you then frame in is a common method for larger windows or odd shapes.

Here is a random product on Amazon, custom cut Low E insulated window panes: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DHD4F3HY

I see no reason why the company in this post wouldnt.

I think pledge(2) and unveil(2) would help to prevent "what can be done if a bug is exploited", yes?

Ever so slightly, but still a long ways off from proper mac or rbac support.

Hopefully some acceptable filesystem will be added in the near future.

A port of Dragonfly BSD's HAMMER2 is being worked on[0], but that repo also has this bit:

"This repository will be abandoned once Linux or FreeBSD is stabilized with write support. OpenBSD is not the main area of interest."

There is also gefs https://orib.dev/gefs.pdf with the other thinking about porting it to OpenBSD.

20 years later, who made the right call?

What is the purpose of the ? here?

It makes the preceding * less "greedy". I don't think it has any effect on the set of strings matched by this regexp, though, which is a simple string suffix check.

I agree, but the dot should be escaped because it matches any character, so "@domain\.com$" should just works for.

Or use [.] so it's super clear on the a-human-is-reading-it parse.

I don't think that's clearer because for [.] I need to remember that . does not need to be escaped in character classes whereas \. is quite clearly an escaped literal character without any advanced regexp knowledge.

I dunno, but I've seen a bug like this in prod while consulting.

Non-greedy match (match what's necessary nothing more.)

The default is greedy... match match match nom nom nom!

So not _too_ much peddling, at least.

Pure asafoetida is fine to use, it doesn't smell bad, it doesn't give you stomach problems. You dilute it with the food you cook with it. It doesn't need it adulterated with flour and turmeric. Here is a good brand that I like, "Best Hing Ever". Hing is another name for asafoetida.

Interesting, because every single report I've heard on it has said the opposite! I don't distrust you, I'm now just wondering what causes the variation!

Next time you feel that way just look at Nepal. By far the most unique country flag.

A happy little accident.
