Svelte has never looked more like Vue to me. I don't mean this as a dig, I think it looks great.

It's just even less obvious to me why I might pick it over Vue at this point.

Svelte 5 is just Vue 3 with a smaller ecosystem. That's basically it.

Really? Feature realease v3.3 was released just last month...

Look at the GitHub commits in the 6 months before 3.3

What I like about Vue is less churn. Vue stayed in 2.6 for a long long time. It's fine.

Just curious why you preferred SvelteKit to Nuxt? Literally every single thing you said of SvelteKit is also true of Nuxt.

I like them both, but tend to lean more toward Nuxt for the modules ecosystem and layers/extends. I also find composing reusable props with typescript to be nicer in Nuxt, but that's more of a Vue vs Svelte thing than Nuxt vs SvelteKit.

This description of Nuxt 3 couldn't be further from reality. Performance is on par with anything else I've tried (SvelteKit, Remix, Next) and the DX (module ecosystem, layers, auto imports, vite, etc ) are actually what's made it my default.

Typically with SSR, only the initial load is server rendered. Subsequent navigations are client rendered.

Go with the Buffalo framework and Vue.

The "Search with Bing..." feature will open in whatever the default browser is.

I tried to switch to firefox a few months ago, but it had no way to view websocket frames in the dev tools. This was kind of a deal breaker for me at the time as I was doing a lot of ws work. Have they remedied this?

Brave is now based on Chromium. You can install extensions from the Chrome web store just as you would in Chrome.

To me, Brave is just Chrome without all the Google stuff and a built-in ad-blocker. It's fantastic.

It's my understanding that he's reverse engineering the Chinese version of the phone rather than the international version.
