It features the state-of-the-art EnCodec audio compressor / tokenizer, along with MusicGen, a simple and controllable music generation LM with textual and melodic conditioning.
I'm a senior product/tech person working on the same problem statement. I'm looking for a cofounder who can deal with business side of things so I can focus on building. I can definitely help.
I think you're being sarcastic. I think for me the more interesting bit is that there are 2 parts to creating something. Generation and Curation, I think this story goes to show that Llms will do the same thing to writing . Humans will become curators and AI will take care of low level generation. I can imagine a lot of things, but putting them in words is something that I'm not good at. Now thanks to Llms I can also put my thoughts out there.
I shall definitely try this 'avoid turgid prose', 'make the plot interesting.
The trick to getting better at putting things into words, is to read more. Particularly, read those whose writing style you would seek to emulate.
For this particular case, both the structure of the story and the writing style have room for improvement. I would suggest taking a look at Isaac Asimov, specifically his short stories, Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King and Oscar Wilde.
When I started to write the article this is exactly what I was trying to convey. But over time I realized that even when you are working as a full stack developer, you need to understand a software product's other aspects apart from coding to build a great product. Otherwise you are just building in vacuum which I think is the wrong way to build anything.
Thanks man. I totally agree. Sometimes I still get frustrated while speaking with clients and it takes huge amount of efforts to convince myself to look at things from the client's perspective.
Never saw the guy face to face, just read his books. Thought when I'll go to US will meet him, sit for his lectures. Don't think it will happen now. :(
