Wow. Very nice job. Very intuitive. However, you should move the cube into the center of the screen, since that is the center of the players focus.

Society can be pretty tolerant of eccentricity and a lack of personal hygiene when it's accompanied by genius. Look at Albert Einstein and even Richard Stallman.

>It seems like sometimes I'd rather do anything other than what I'm actually suppose to do and what pays the bills, almost like a mental disorder.

History is full of geniuses who weren't interested in paying the bills, to the chagrin of their creditors, but ultimately to the benefit of civilization as a whole.

>Because computers got more computing power

You're missing the essential component of artistic creativity.

Wow what a great interface. Really great clean design and I like the fact that you've used two seperate btc exchanges. I think this tab will be pinned in my browser once I begin my new career as a bitcoin dealer on localbitcoins.com ;)

I agree with the sentiment of your post, but I don't think they "make acquiring and owning games easier" than piracy. In fact it's very easy to pirate gog games because of their anti-DRM stance so if a potential customer doesn't feel like paying the 5 bucks for a game, it's just a torrent away. Not saying GOG haven't done something wonderful but it's certainly not pirate-proof.

GOG makes games easy to find and you don't have to worry about malware. I'd say these two factors make it easier than piracy in practice.

Mint never ceases to impress me. Mint 15 runs faster off of a live cd for me than ubuntu 12.04 LTS does natively. I presume this is something to do with unity and all the underlying bloat that is becoming more and more of a defining characteristic of ubuntu these days. I don't have anything against unity in user interface terms; I think it's a pretty decent GUI and doesn't deserve the flak it gets from the linux community. Nevertheless, Cinnamon is a triumph of clean, simple, and utilitarian UI design and trumps any other conventional UI on GNU/Linux I've ever used, and the underlying design of Mint seems to ensure there's never any slow down getting in the way of getting things done.

Keep up the good work Mint

Could you direct me to some of this research you're citing? it seems really unlikely to me that dual monitors would have any kind of significant impact on productivity. in fact don't they encourage multi-tasking which tends to decrease productivity?

How does it play on people who have ADHD? I've been on a single 13" for three years and I don't want to go back to two 21" again. Might go for an 15" just because of xCode, but that's it.

Duck duck go has one up.

Brilliant post kas. I'm impressed by your loyalty and cogency.

If the two of you ever considered having kids, there'd be a few things you'd do well to prepare for. I am the child of a severe manic-depressive/alcoholic. I can't begin to tell you the myriad ways this has effected my development, but the influence runs deep and strong. Your children will grow up in an environment of chaos, where crisis is often the default state of affairs. I'm not saying your kids will, in the grander scheme of life, be any worse off for the potentially unstable environment in which they grow, but it can make them feel unusual, left out and alone in comparison to their peers. With any luck, they'll be as well-rounded, if not moreso than anyone else, not in spite of but because of their experiences with a close relative suffering from severe mental illness.

I wish you the best of luck and send all my love to you both.

He had mentioned in the article she can no longer have children.
