> Thank you so much for raising that point.

That seems a bit sarcastic ... ;)

I love my Atreus keyboard w/the TMK-based Atreus firmware; I have not (yet) noticed that it misses keys.

> LastPass and 1Password are good choices if you don't care about letting others host your (supposedly encrypted) passwords.

That statement doesn't apply to 1Password; AgileBits does not host your data.

1Password works with Dropbox, unless you manage the storage and backup manually.

> 1Password works with Dropbox...

Because it has the amazing feature of storing all your passwords in a file. It's nothing like the features offered by lastpass with respect to serving you your passwords from a remote host and if you can't trust your password manager to KDF & encrypt then you really shouldn't be using it as it's doubtful it's properly generating secure passwords.

Congrats!

I got mine (AF7NK) just before the 2015 new year. No HF radio yet. I'm just using an infamous boafeng plus a homemade ground plane antenna in the attic.

A small (631 bytes) JPEG concatenated with your file of choice (preferably encrypted) accomishes what you're thinking.

But you run the risk of a ToS violating, losing your files and having your account banned.

Sensitive much?

I completely agree; I currently maintain an old web-app that uses xmL/XSLT and it is a complete nightmare to do anything useful.

So what you're saying is that you don't have proof of your claims. Ok, got it.

Obviously those tests were rigged.

Um... what?

The display is fused to the glass. The battery is glued to the case.

Still, why is it glued at all?

Jesus Christ, it's glue not a impenetrable force-field.

I don't know why, but I can think of many plausible examples that don't include ridiculous conspiracy theories about a company wanting to take all your money.

Please provide an example why a screw or removable panel would provide less value to the consumer than gluing the thing and making it impossible to replace the battery on your own. I eagerly await your response.

Lighter, thinner.

and serviceable only by apple, hopefully investing the servicing cost into buying a brand new gizmo instead which comes with a brand new battery.

Because everyone complains about those heavy screws!
